Since setting out to produce the mini-series “The Tragic Tale of Shameless Seamus McGuffey” in 2009, Ryan and Surly Urchin have been creating content that makes the impossible into reality. Ryan’s passion for the post-production process has opened up new worlds of possibility for the scope of storytelling that Surly Urchin can explore, in both original and client projects. From Surly Urchin’s inception, Allison has been a creative driving force behind our content and growth. From writing and producing originals like Surly’s flagship feature Seamus McGuffey to leading video productions for clients like Equine Affaire, Allison’s hand can be seen throughout our body of work. Through social media campaigns and content, she curates the Surly Urchin brand essence and engagement. Beyond her work with Surly, Allison has also produced, directed, and edited shows for national television, hosted and produced podcast series, and more.
